Show NO RECESSION SEEN FOR UTAH Recently conducted business surveys sur-veys of the west as well as in Utah indicate that Utah's population has increased 22.9 percent since 1940, as compared with a national increase of 7.3 percent. The westward west-ward migration of people which started during the war still shows no sign of halting, and all evidence indicates that western population gains will be retained and continue contin-ue to grow. The result of such growth, wherein Utah has gained 126,000 new residents, means an expanded market which opens the door for new business and permits the expansion of established businesses. |
