Show POSTAL CARD COMES BACK AFTER 56 YEARS The U. S. mail always goes through. But now and then it takes time. A postal card, AWOL for 56 years, turned up in Washington the other day to puzzle authorities. authori-ties. On Dec. 6, 1890, the Interior Department mailed it to Harrisia, Burlington County, N, J. Now it's back, marked "returned for better address." Seems there's no Harrisia in any Postal Guide. Question: Did a conscientious mailman spend half a century looking? The Post Office admits it doesn't know. |
