Show jSociet? : I MAPLETON VELS WRIMBS j ENJOY CARD PARTY Mrs. Bernice Carnesecca was hostess to members of the Vels Wrimbs'club at an enjoyable evening's eve-ning's entertainment. The group played Monte Carlo Whist and a nicely arranged lunch was served by the hostess. Prizes for the games went to Mrs. Lola Jensen Jen-sen and Mrs. Delia Smith, the latter lat-ter a g-uest. Attending the party, were, Mrs. Bernice Averett, Mrs. LaRue Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Pern Butler, Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia Hall, Mrs. Merrill Cox, Mrs. Irene Freeman, Mrs. Mary Carnesecca, Carne-secca, Mrs. Fay Moulton, Mrs. Louise Jensen, Mrs. Marie Johnson, John-son, Mrs. Wilma Cloward, Mrs. Ruth Hooper, Mrs. Janet Carnesecca, Carne-secca, Miss Lena Carnesecca, and Mrs. Delia Smith. The next meeting of the club will be May 1, at the home of Mrs. Fay Moulton in Provo. . JEUNE MERE CLUB MEMBERS ENTERTAINED Members of the Jeune Mere club were entertained last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the home of Mrs. Margaret Blackett. A tasty luncheon was served early in the evening on small tables centered with pretty floral motifs suggestive sugges-tive of ' Easter. Bridge was the diversion of the evening, with prizes won bv Mrs. Mary Palfreyman, Mrs. Afton Palfreyman and Mrs. Florence Allan. Al-lan. Thirteen club ' member and four guests were in attendance, the latter including, Mrs. Afton Palfreyman, Mrs. Josephine Whiting, Whit-ing, Mrs. Aleen McKenzie,. and Mrs. Lucille Packard. Four new members who have recently joined the club are, Mrs. Frances Clark, Mrs. Mary Barrett, Mrs. LaRue Warren and Mrs. Olive Bray. MRS. C. EDWIN DEAN IS CLUB HOSTESS Members of the Pari Passu club were entertained last Friday evening- at the home of Mrs. Earl McKenzie with Mrs. C. Edwin Dean as hostess. Lovely spring blossoms decorated the entertaining entertain-ing rooms, emphasizing a pink and white color scheme. The program featured an interr esting talk by Miss Edith Russell, a student- from England attending attend-ing the "Y," who spoke on life at Devonshire, and told of conditions! in England resulting from the war. Mrs. Nettie Williams, Mrs. Evelyn Special guests of the club were Fry and Mrs. Margarete Jesnen. Pacific. |
