Show BFC Tea Attended By Large Group Lovely in every detail was the Federated Women's Art Tea held Saturday afternoon in the high school Art Building. The event was attended by more than 300 members of federated women's clubs from throughout the state, who enjoyed the paintings in the Art exhibit as well as the fine entertainment and social contacts afforded by this annual function. A musical program was given during the entire afternoon, featured fea-tured by solos, violin numbers and other instrumental selections. Gorgeous floral decorations, made up of spring blossoms in pastel colors, added a cheery note to the occasion. The serving table ta-ble was covered with a beautiful Chinese handwork cloth and held a centerpiece of pink tulips and yellow daffodils. Ladies in the receiving line were attired in formals, as were those in charge of the serving. The many vsitors during the afternoon commented on the lovely love-ly arrangements of the entertainment entertain-ment which was the first given since the war, by the seven Federated Fed-erated Women's clubs of this city. |
