Show Put highly nutricious and satisfying satis-fying sandwiches into the school lunch box. Meat and fish, cheese, eggs, and peanut butter are all fine basic fillings, and the enriched bread supplies energy, important B-vitamins, and iron. A favorite "scholar's sandwich" is ham and cheese in' a bun, or a liverwurst and tomato combination. Sardine, egg salad, and cream cheese and jelly sandwiches are others which can be prepared often. Occasionally, Occasion-ally, for varity, include a baked bean sandwich seasoned with chili sauce and thinly sliced onion. |
