Show NEW COURSES OFFERED AT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL Several new classes will be added to the curriculum of the Central Utah Vocational school when it. opens for the fall term Sept. 13, at Provo, according to W. W. Sorenson, school superintendent. superin-tendent. New courses to be offered include in-clude studies in industrial mechanics, mechan-ics, which is an introduction to the work of the nonspecialized mechanic, me-chanic, and a course in trade exploration, ex-ploration, designed to aid high school students and graduates in finding the vocational field for which they are best suited. The term, which will continue to December 7, is open to anyone over 16 years of age, Mr. Sorenson Soren-son said, and fees charged are nearly the same as those from the state's junior colleges. Many evening courses will be offered for those who work during dur-ing the day, and one of the innovations in-novations of the school this year will be the spreading of its apprentice ap-prentice training program throughout' many of the communities com-munities of central and southern Utah. |
