Show . 4 Coming Events . . . Pari Passu Club Mrs. Mary Barrett will be hostess hos-tess to members of the Pari Passu Pas-su club at her home on Friday evening, beginning at 8 p. m. The program will feature a review of Pearl Buck's book, "Pavilion of Women," by Mrs. Ronald Thorpe. A check on tickets for the play Saturday evening will also be made announces Mrs. Kay Johnson, the club president. Jaycee Wives Arrangements have been made to have Mrs. Mary Williams, Pro-vo, Pro-vo, Utah's Cinderella Girl, at the Jaycee Wives meeting Thursday evening, March 6, and members are urged to make plans to attend. Missionary Society The Missionary Society of the Community church will conduct the annual Silver Tea at the church today, Thursday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 p. m. Mrs. Erwin of Provo, a former missionary to India, is scheduled to give a talk during the program which is in charge of Mrs. Earl Fritz. An invitation is extended to all ladies of the church, and others interested, to attend. Jeune Mere Club The next regular meeting of the Jeoune Mere club is announced for nexf Wednesday, March 5, at the home of Mrs. Amy Klauck. It will be a business meeting, including the election of officers for the ensuing en-suing year. Junior Fireside Members of the Junior Fireside will meet at the home of Craig ' Straw, 248 North, Second West, ; Sunday at 8:30 p. m. The speaker for the evening will be Harward Hinton, former serviceman and missionary. Cultural Arts Club Mrs. Frances Holley will be hostess hos-tess to members of the Cultural Arts club at the next regular meeting meet-ing Wednesday, March 5, 8 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Russell Davis, Dav-is, A street, Brookside. |
