Alexander nee Bonnie Baxter , : . i Baxter-Alexander Church Wedding Reception, Pretty Social Event An impressive candle light ceremony united Miss Bonnie Baxter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh A. Baxter of Springville, and Ralph H. Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Muse, Salt Lake City, Saturday evening in the Fourth Ward Churoh. Wedding Vows were solemnized by Howard Maycock before a fireplace banked with fern and pastel gladioli. To the strains of the Wedding March, played on the organ by Mrs. Mary Bird, Miss Baxter and her father walked down ain aisle decorated with gladioli, fern and large satin bows. She was beautifully beauti-fully attired in a gown of white slipper satin with a transparent yolk of nylon netting trimmed in seed pearls. A full skirt swept into in-to a 'long train and her full length veil of bride's illusioin 'cascaded from a halo trimmed with step-hanotis step-hanotis and seed pearls. The bridal bouquet was an orchid surrounded by stephanotis. The bride was attended toy her two sisters,' Mrs. Roger Nielson, ofof Salina, and Mrs. Albert D. Clark of Provo. Their ensembles were blue and yellow taffeta dresses dres-ses with matching hats. They carried car-ried fan shaped bouquets of white gladioli, etephanotis and blue and yellow carnations. Little Miss Stef-enee Stef-enee Nielson, dressed in a orchid formal and hat, identical to the attending matrons, was flower girl. Her small basket was filled with pink roses. Dave De Young, of Salt Lake City, stood as best man and Hoyt Baxter, 'of Provo was -usher. A reception honored the newly-weds newly-weds immediately following the ceremony. The receiving line consisted con-sisted of the wedding party, and the parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Muse wore a teal blue formal for-mal and Mrs. Baxter a mulberry-colored mulberry-colored gown. Both had orchil cor-sag'es cor-sag'es Mrs. Leonard Harward, Mrs. Hoyt Baxter and Miss Barbara Houston were hostesses during the evening reception. The misses Norma Nor-ma Simkins, Jerry Walker, Lu-Deen Lu-Deen Clark, Billie Clark and Joy Fullmer served. After 'greeting the .guests and cutting a beautifully decorated four tiered wedding cake, the bride changed to her going away suit of Taupe Brown with accessories of moss green. The couple left for a honeymoon in the northwest. They will make their home in Salt Lake iCty upon their return. |
