Show I Violators Fined 1 On Fish And Game Law Counts Fifty-four more persons have been taken to court and fined for violating the Utah fish and game laws, according to Ross Leonard, Utah Fish and Game Director. Fines were heavy for intentional violators, Leonard pointed out, Dell Dickinson of Panguitch being arrested for possession of deer meat out of season, and being fined $150. Dickinson, according to Leonard, out-ran one warden in his automobile but was aprehended by another warden several miles down the highway. The meat, it is re- ported, was thrown from the car but was recovered by the warden. Bruce Evans of Lehi was arrested arrest-ed and fined $100 for killing deer out of season and Gua Delupe Le-Degma Le-Degma of Tooele paid $100 for possession of ducks out of season. Norval Riggs of Overton, Nov., was fined $50 and had his nets, trailer and seines confiscated by the state for seining fish without a permit. Riggs, it is reported was seining the waters for trash fi'ih I to be sold at Overton for bass bait, when he was arrested. Twenty-eight persons, paid fines up to $25 each for fishing without licenses, throe were fined $25 each for shooting from the highway, five for shooting from game preserves, pre-serves, two for shooting ducks, four for violating the deer proclamation, procla-mation, one for fishing out of season, five for fishing after legal hours. |
