Show To Celebrate birthday I I f : Kolob Stake PATRIARCH JOHN H. MANWARING Who will observe his Eighty-second Birthday on Tuesday, May 18. I I - 1 John H. Manwaring, patriarch of Koloh stake for the past ten years, will celebrate his eighty-second birthday on Tuesday, May 18, and h'e will be happy to see his friends during the day at his home, 488 South Eighth East street. He was born in England and came at an early age to Springville, where he has lived most of his life, taking active part in church and civic affairs. He served on a mission to the southern states in his early life and was active as a counselor coun-selor to the bishop in the First ward over a period 6f 26 years. He was set apart as patriarch of Kolob stake in October 1938. Mr. Manwaring, a widower since the death of his wife in 1921, has six sons and daughters: Mrs. William R. Hill, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lloyd Ashcraft, Aenos, Wilford, Maurice and Maurine Manwaring, Springville; also 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. |
