Show F.F.A.B0YSARE ACTIVE IN MANY PROJECTS The high school Future Farmers, under the direction of W. H. Anderson, An-derson, have been active in numerous numer-ous projects the past few weeks, reports from the group indicate. Every boy in the F. F. A. chapter, chap-ter, comprising about 70 members, has purchased either defense stamps or bonds. The local chapter is the only one in the state which has achieved such a record thus far, it is stated. At a recent meeting of the F. F- A., S. R. Boswell, county agricultural agri-cultural agent, gave a talk on "What Farmers Should Do To Help In the World Crisis." A 100 per cent F. F. a. membership attended attend-ed the meeting and exhibited considerable con-siderable interest in the subject. Last week the F. F. A. boys cooperated co-operated with local farmers and county agents in the campaign to exterminate rats by distributing literature telling of the damage to Property and other information on the rodents. The F. F. A. conducted a program pro-gram on Wednesday at the high school featuring a talk by C. G. Salisbury on the subject "Thrift." Melvin Teasdale, F. F. A. president, presi-dent, conducted the meeting, with ick Crandall in charge of the Program. The boys are now working on the annual F. F. A. public speaking1 speak-ing1 contest to be conducted in Provo soon. The winner of the district dis-trict contest will enter the region and from there the winner will be selected for the national meet. |
