Show Citizens' Primary Nominates Clyde For Mayor All Incumbent Candidates Are Well Known In Springville Civic Business Incumbents on the Citizens' party named at the Primary held Wednesday night include W. W. Clyde, mayor: . rv. vjyue, mayor; Maurice Anderson, four-year councilman; coun-cilman; V. C. Mendenhall, Victor Frandsen and Selvoy J. Boyer, two-year councilmen; Glenn Hansen, Han-sen, recorder; and Arlene Mendenhall, Menden-hall, treasurer. A financial report given at the Primary showed city affairs to be in fine condition and that business of the city had been handled efficiently effi-ciently during the past administration. adminis-tration. Voters at the November 2nd city election will closely analyze the qualities and past experiences of the men listed on the ticekts. : It will be noted that W. W. Clyde, past mayor, has had considerable con-siderable business experience, and is a well-known Springville contractor. con-tractor. Maurice Anderson operates a business in Springville and has ' served for the past two years on the city council. V. C. Mendenhall, local contractor, contrac-tor, is also acquainted with educational educa-tional activities and has a broad experience in city affairs. Victor Frandsen, a local teacher, is capable and well informed on city needs. Selvoy J. Boyer has always taken tak-en an active part in civic affairs and has also served the state in the legislature. He has also held other state positions as well as , being a successful Springville far- mer. Glenn Hansen has made a fine record as city recorder for the past two years. Arlene Mendenhall is incumbent for the position of city treasurer. |
