The application form which must be filled out for ration book No. 4 is printed in the Herald today to-day for the convenience of readers, read-ers, but this form cannot be used at the place of registration. Only one blank need be filled for a family group, but an individual living in the family but of no relation re-lation must fill out a blank to secure se-cure his ration book. Special attention is called to the fact that ration book No. 4 will be issued only to those individuals who nave ration book No. 3, and ration book No. 3 must be presented present-ed to the person in charge of the registration before book No. 4 Is issued. Family members away from home who have their ration book with them, are asked to register reg-ister at the place where they are located and get book No. 4. On the other hand, family members who are temporarily away from home but whose book is at home, one person from the family may take the book and a book No. 4 will be issued. Do not fail to take book No. 3 with you when you register. reg-ister. Housewives will start using the green stamps A, B; and C, from the new war ration book No. 4, on Monday, November 1st. These stamps will be . valid throuh December De-cember 20, and will be used for buying processed foods in the same way as the blue stamps in book No. 2. The last blue stamps, "X" and "Y" in book No. 2, remain good through November 20. |
