Show MRS. PAUL K. WALKER WAS HOSTESS THURSDAY evening to members of the Ladies Literary club at her home. Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall, president, was in charge of the program and led a short business discussion. It was decided during the evening that the club would purchase a bond during Federated Club Bond week. November 1 to The club also plans to do some Red Cross sewing. sew-ing. The program featured an interesting inter-esting and education review of the book, "U. S. Foreign Policy," hy Walter Lippman, given by Mrs. F. C. Packard. Robert Thorn and Russell Palfreyman entertained with piano and violin selections. Preceding the prorgam, tasty refreshments were served by the hostess to club members and Miss Shelley, of the high school Home Economics department, was a special spe-cial guest. |
