Show RATION BOOK 4 ISSUED AT ART BUILDING Townspeople Urged To Register Today And Tomorrow For Book 4 It is important that townspeople townspeo-ple who have not registered for ration book No. 4, do so today or tomorrow, Glenn Hansen, chairman chair-man of the local ration board, announced an-nounced today. Registration will take place at the High School Art building from 1 p. m., until 8 p. m., today and Friday, he stated. Registration began be-gan on Wednesday. Citizens of Mapleton are required re-quired to register at the Mapleton schoolhouse on the same days from 3 until 8 p. m. P.-T. A. officers and members of the various women's organizations organiza-tions are in charge of the registration regis-tration work and it is exnected that, . practically everyone in the town will have completed their registration by Friday evening. The application blanks for ration, book No. 4 is very simple, but ration book No. 3 must be presented present-ed before the fourth ration book will be issued, it is pointed out. All blanks must be filled out at the place of registration as federal authorities through this registration registra-tion hope to determine the exact population of the defense areas. One member of a family may register for the entire group, providing pro-viding he has each family member's mem-ber's ration book No. 3 on hand. There is to be no registration held at the city hall for the fourth ration ra-tion book, which, according to present plans, is to last two years. |
