Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Crandall (Leah Hunter), who were united in marriage in the Salt Lake temple tem-ple Tuesday, were complimented at a beautifully arranged wedding reception held in the banqut hall of the Joseph Smith building at Provo, Wednesday evening. Vern Crandall of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, and other close relatives. A dinner at the Beau Brummel immediately followed the marriage. For her wedding reception, the lovely bride was gowned in white, her veil of fine net with trimming of dainty imported lace which formed a Dutch cap. Touches of orange blossoms were on either side. Her bouquet was of pink and white rosebuds and an orchid. Mrs. Irene C. Love, Miss Bev-erlee Bev-erlee Graham and Mrs. Afton F. Graham were the attendants and were frocked in dainty checked taffeta. Tiny chrysanthemums were worn in their hair and they held bouquets of rosebuds. Mrs. Hunter, the bride's mother, was in dusty rose jersey, and Mrs. Crandall in black velvet, and they wore pink rosebud corsages. Lamar La-mar Crandall of Springville, brother bro-ther of the groom, was best man. The guests were greeted at the door by Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Berg, Provo, and the O. S. girls of the B. Y. U. assisted with the guests and attended to the serving. serv-ing. Also, they sang their Sweetheart Sweet-heart and Bride songs. Beautiful string music was played all evening by the Misses Deanne Merrill, Betty Nicholes and Marian Robertson. Centering the lace-covered serving serv-ing table was a large, three-tiered wedding cake with trimmings of pink and white, and adorned with a miniature bridal pair. Pink candles were in crystal holders on either side. Forming a background for the bridal party, in front of the fireplace fire-place and massive mirror, were many containers of ping and white chrysanthemums and lighted tapers tap-ers in floor candelabra. Mr. and Mrs. Crandall will make their home in Springville. |
