Show DRIVE PROCEEDS FOR GIFTS TO SERVICEMEN The drive for gifts to the disabled dis-abled veterans sponsored by the American Legion and Auxiliary, must not be a partial success or it will be a complete failure, officials offi-cials in charge of the project announced an-nounced today. Suggested gifts for men are books, with the exception of war stories, and maps. Pocket-size are preferred; stationery and games, toiletries, things to wear such as sleevless sweaters,' "T" shirts, nice handkerchiefs, billfolds, good quality sox and bedroom slippers, pipes, tobacco, cigarets, tobacco pouches, pipe cleaners and miscellaneous miscel-laneous items such as identification identifica-tion bracelets, good sun glasses, wash cloths. Suggested gifts for women include in-clude books, fancy letter paper; toiletries, notions, with the exception excep-tion of needles and scissors, things to wear, including scarfs, gloves, bandanas, bed sox, handkerchiefs and bedroom suppers.
