Pretty Home Reception Compliments Couple Wed in Salt Lake Temple Now at home in Provo, at 247 North 5th West, are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hurst, who were married April 29, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. ima. nursi, is tne iormer Joyces Gustavson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Gustavson of Springville and Leonard is a son of Mrs. Esther Hurst of Provo. The wedding rites in the temple were witnessed by immediate members mem-bers of the family and close friends and that same evening, the newlyweds new-lyweds were honored with a reception recep-tion at the home of the bride's parents. The bride was beautifully gowned gown-ed in a white satin wedding dress of lace and tulle over satin. The floor length skirt was formed of tiers of tulle and the long train was fashioned of tulle with lace inserts. The long-pointed sleeves and tight-fitting tight-fitting bodice were of lace and her veil of illusion fell from a bonnet encrusted with pearls. White stephanotis surrounded an orchid tied with white satin ribbon rib-bon to form the pretty bridal bouquet. bou-quet. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Cora Kappele, who came from her home in Long Beach, Calif., to be matron of honor. Mrs. Vernon Patridge, sister sis-ter of the groom; Mrs Lynn Stone, Mrs. Gene Thomas, Joan Gustavson Gustav-son and Helen Hatfield were bridesmaids. They were attired in identical gowns waltz length, of acetate rayon in a pale shade of green and carried fans of lace with yellow carnations. Chris Partridge, in yellow organdy, organ-dy, was flower girl and . Jimmy Wilson was train-bearer. Attending the groom as best man was Bryon Clark. Others in the receiving line were parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Gustavson choosing an orchid silk and Mrs. Hurst pink crepe for the reception. Their corsages were of pink roses. During the reception, Byron Jensen Jen-sen played organ music. There was also a toast composed by Mrs. Oscar Os-car Boyer, given by Mrs. Fred Smith and John Markham gave a toast to the groom. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Norman. Serving were Ann Laney, Diane Jensen, Connie Hall, Bonnie Jackson, Jack-son, assisted by Mrs. Walter Norman. Nor-man. A four-tiered wedding cake centered cen-tered a lace-covered table on which was a pretty arrangement of lace fans similar to those carried by the bride's attendants. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. Darrell Wilson and Mrs. Bert Jasperson, Jo Ann Diamond and Carol Phillips, registered the guests. The artistic floral decorations were arranged by Mrs. Harold Jordan. |
