Show Mothers, Guests at Ciub Luncheon," Program Among the delightful Mothers Day programs was one given Saturday Sat-urday evening at the Social Center in Spanish Fork by the Ladies Literary Lit-erary club. Luncheon was served early at long tables centered with pastel-colored pastel-colored daises and was followed by a program. Mrs. Blanch Beal, club president, gave a few words of welcome and asked club members to introduce their guests. Each guest was presented with a carnation. car-nation. Mrs. Oliver Dalton presented a most enjoyable program which consisted of a short synopsis of the life of Maude Adams together with her interpretation of parts of plays in which Miss Adams was cast. Merrill Johnson entertained with two violin selections, accompanied accom-panied by Carolyn Sumsion. Attending the club program as guests were Mrs. Mary Maycock, Mrs. Floss Johnson, Mrs. Nedra Fox of Salt Lake, Mrs. Ella Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Mrs. May B. Jensen of Salt Lake, Mrs. Rena Roylance, Mrs. J. R. Graham of Salt Lake, Mrs. Anna An-na Johnson, Mrs. A. O. Thorn, Miss Mae Finley, Mrs. Jeri Winger, Miss Faye Bjarnson, Mrs. Mary Schwartz, Mrs. Lucille McFarlane of Provo, Mrs. Jane Finley, Mrs. Lula Mendenhall, Mrs. Joan A. Sumsion of Salt Lake, Mrs. N. R. Sudweeks, Mrs. Henrietta Harmer. Hostesses for the party were Mrs. Gene Johnson, Mrs. LaCelle Sumsion, Mrs. Helen Anderson, Mrs. M. N. Moon, Mrs. Ed Clyde and Mrs. Wm. L. Schreiner. |
