Show Foot Specialist Addresses PTA At Jefferson Meet At a well attended Jefferson School PTA meeting last Friday night, Dr. Nephi K. Kezerian, a foot specialist from Provo, gave an interesting and well informed talk on the care of the feet. He said with proper shoes and exercise, many foot troubles can be overcome and told how by proper pro-per walking habits children can be helped with minor foot disorders. The First Grade under the direction dir-ection of Rea Straw, entertained the parents with songs and dances. dan-ces. The Morning group of the 1st grade sang "Robbins," "Kite" and "Rocking in the Moon." They did two dances, the first one being a creative rhythm dance and the second, a directed dance. The afternoon group also sang three songs, "Spring is Coming," "Echo Song" and "Monkey Talk." They danced the "Fairy Dance," and the "Clap Dance." Miss Beth Parry accompanied them on the piano. j Elections were held and officers j ! chosen for next year. Mrs. Norma j Gustavson, president of the Cen- i tral Council, installed the new officers as follows: president, Mrs. ' Clarence Debeen, former president ; to serve another year; vice-president, Mrs. Jcx Boyack; second vice-president, Principal Wendell ! Nielson; secretary. Mrs. Bert j Brown; program chairman, Mrs. Sarah Albanio; nominating chairman, chair-man, Mrs. Mary Roundy. The First Grade was the win-, win-, ner in the contest to have the I most parents present. ' |
