Show Mapleton JC's, Wives Complete Fine Project for Town Amusement Hall Mapleton Jaycees and JC Wives recently completed an outstanding outstand-ing project presenting the Town ooard with a check of $300 to pay tor redecorating the amusement fall. They also presented a new electric stove to the hall and the Wives completely equipped the kitchen with silverware and dishes to serve fifty. A banquet was given by the Jaycees last Thursday evening at I which the check was presented and j the Jaycee also elceted new offi- cers for the coming year during , the meeting. The presentateion was made by Stan Bird, retiring JC president. Retiring officers who raised funds for the banquet are: Mr. Bird, Joseph Carncsecoa, Roland Hansen, Neil Whiting, Neno Antonino,, An-tonino,, Jack Bona, Fred Jensen. Johnnie Bleggi and Marty Perrero. The funds with which the amusement hall was equipped and decorated were raised by the Jay-cces Jay-cces from their farm project and from '49 dances, while the-Jayceo Wives made quilts, sponsored roller-skating, also a Christmas card project and gave a dance revue to make money for the project. In charge of raising JC Wives funds were officers: Mrs. Rea Ble-PTgi, Ble-PTgi, Neola Steinor, Janet Cnrnos-ecca, Cnrnos-ecca, Delia Christensen, Mary Rle-ggi, Rle-ggi, Loeen Whiting and Mary Car-nesecca. |
