Show Cultural Arts Club Installs . Mrs. Ray Peterson was hostess to the members of the Cultural Arts club Wednesday evening, when they met at the home of Mrs. Frances Holley. New officers were installed at ceremonies where each of the retiring re-tiring officers installed her successor suc-cessor and presented her with tho club flower, a white rose. Those newly elected to the various positions posi-tions are: Mrs. Bert Cherrington, president, who succeeds Mrs. Del Moine Christensen; Mrs. Ray Peterson, Pe-terson, vice-president, who will take over the duties of Mrs. Jay Nielson; Mrs. Grant Niclson, sec-treas., sec-treas., succeeding Mrs. James Lawrence; Mrs. Blaine Clyde, reporter re-porter and Mrs. Vernon Cook, program pro-gram chairman. These ladies take over each other's duties, exchanging exchang-ing positions for the coming year. One of the most interesting programs pro-grams of the club year was given by Howard Maycock, who talked on the subject, "A Woman and Her Money." He explained how a family budget should be laid out, and dealth with all the important financial problems which face evrey woman in her life, how a will should be made out, what she should know about title insurance and abstracts, as well as many other aspects of the handling of property. Club members asked many questions and entered into a discussion which proved to be very enlightening. The next meeting was announced announc-ed for May 7, when the Mother's Day party will be held at the home of Mrs. Reed Holdaway. A delicious delic-ious tray luncheon was served by the hostess. Mrs. Howard Maycock was a special guest. |
