Bushman of Lehi announced an-nounced Saturday that he will be a candidate on the Democratic ticket for Utah County Assessor. Mr. Bushman is a son of Lehi Pioneers. He is a successful farmer, far-mer, stock raiser and poultry-man. poultry-man. He is a graduate of the Lehi high school and attended the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University where he completed a course in business administration. Mr. Bushman served ser-ved four years as a Utah County committeeman on the A.A.A. during dur-ing a period when wheat attot-ments attot-ments and marketing quotas were in force. He had charge during that period of surveying and mapping map-ping all farm lands in Utah County Coun-ty in connection with his A.A.A. duties. An active member of the LDS church, Mr. Bushman has filled a mission in the Texas-Louisiana Texas-Louisiana field. He has worked in the Sunday School superintendency and as ward genealogical chairman for a number of years. He is .a high priest and acts as secretary of his ward quorum. He is a member of the Lehi chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers Pion-eers and has been past president of that organization. He was also president of the local farm bureau for a number of years.
