Show 12 Youths Enroll In Boys State Twelve young men are attending attend-ing Boys' State this week from Springville, the largest delegation to go from this city. The boys are being sponsored by the various business concerns and clubs including the American Legion, Kiwanis club, Lions, Kolob Lumber, Springville Banking Co., Whiting and Haymond contractors, contrac-tors, Friel's, Haymond Drug, Cliff's Cafe, Brookside Market, LeMar's and Grand Lumber. Selected to take the training course at Camp Williams were: Grant Kapp, Noel Johnson, Donald Don-ald R.eid, Kay Harmer, Donald Parker, Larry Miner, Calvin Thorpe, Larsen Boyer, Jan Dalton, Gerald Frazier, Tommy Haymond, and James Whiting. ' Larry Miner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Miner of this city was elected second district judge at Boys State this week and Jan Dalton, Dal-ton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Dalton, was elected second district dis-trict attorney. |
