Mr. and Mrs. George Koylance accompanied by Mr. Roylance's mother Mrs. Grace McKenzie and their two children Karen and Or-vile, Or-vile, pent Sunday in Ephraim, visiting Mrs. McKenzie's brother Henry Sumsion, who recently re turned to Uie home of his daugh- ter Mrs. Susan Ewitzer from the hospital where he had been confined con-fined with a lung infection. A former resident of Springville, Mr. Sumsion, 84, haa been living in California and just before he came back to Utah suffered a fractured arm. Mrs. Jim Bird, the former Maur-ine Maur-ine Stone, and little daughter, Cinda, arrived Sunday by plane from Fairbanks, Alaska, where they have made their home for more than a year. Her husband will join her here in about two months. Mrs. Edith Rothwell of Arco, Ida., visited a sister, Mrs. George Weight and other relatives and friends in Springville one day last week. She had been visiting her daughter Shirley and family at Delta. Mrs. Louis Johonson has returned re-turned to her home in Springville from a Salt Lake City hospital, . where she recently underwent a major operation. Mr., and Mrs. Donald Stevens $and boys of Layton visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weight in Springville on Friday of last week. Word received from Mrs. Ray Clark Thomas, the former Lula Jean Holfeltz, who is staying in New York City, until her husband sails for Europe, states that she has visited with Mrs. Thora Whiting Whit-ing Allan and Miss Elaine Erick-sen, Erick-sen, former Springville folks and also saw David Dalton, when he called to see the former Springville Spring-ville people, before he sailed for a European mission. Mrs. Eva Crandall has returned to Salt Lake City following a week's visit with relatives and friends in Springville and Provo. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Stuart and son Joe and his wife and family and a son Lloyd and wife and family fam-ily have returned to their homes in Los Angelesr Calif., following a few days visit in Springville at the home of a daughter and sister, Mrs. Clifford Beardall and family. Recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Janet Crandall have been Mr. |
