Show Springville Native Retires with Kennecott Copper The retirement of Hardin Wood Kirkendall, level foreman at Ken-necott's Ken-necott's Utah Copper Division Mine, has been announced by J. C. Landenberger, Jr., General superintendent sup-erintendent of mines, becoming effective ef-fective July 1. Mr. Kirkendall was born in Springville. He was first employed at Utah Copper in 1910 as a brakeman. He held subsequent jobs as locomotive engineer, yard-master yard-master and handyman. Before he came to Bingham he was employed at the Eureka Hill mining company com-pany at Silver City. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkendall have two children. Their present residence resi-dence is 112 Cyprus Street, Cop-perton. |
