Show Seven Springville 4-H Members Win in Co. Meet Among the winners at Fridav., county-wide 4-H exhibits held a? Brigham Young University Wer seven Springville girls Kathryn Degn, Carol Jean Bradshaw, Jeanne Hansen Kav Chnstensen, Dean Packard Svd Whiting, and Jane Reese , help represent Utah Countv a the Utah State Fair the latter part of this month. Judges included Thelma Huber supervisor of the home economies program and Theta Johnson cloth ing specialist, Utah State Awicul tural College and Wasatch Coun-ty Coun-ty 4-H club leaders. Kathryn Degn was in the advance ad-vance home improvement class She won with a foot stool. Also in this class was Joanne Hansen, who entered a bedroom chair. The club is under the leadership of LaPreal Marsh. The other winners were in individual in-dividual exhibits. Kay Christensen won with a dress; Carol Jean Bradshaw placed with entry 158-Dean 158-Dean Packard and Sydna Whiting Whit-ing advanced into the State Fair with a dress and jacket, and Jane 'Reese entered several dresses. 1 |
