The maps were printed as a special service to parents and to aid in placing students in the school to which they will be assigned as-signed since Springville has a new Westside school and a number of changes have had to be made. The boundry for each grade was established for two reasons: (1) to equalize the student load per teacher and (2) to minimize the problem of unsafe travel. AH bus students in the First, Second and Sixth grades will attend at-tend the Grant School. All bus students in the Fourth and Fifth grades will attend the new West-side West-side school. Kindergarten and third grade students riding the canyon and north bus will attend the Grant school, while those riding the straight line bus will attend the Westside school. In case an overload in any of the grades, adjustments will be made the first day or so of school. There will be no Sixth grade at the Lincoln school this year and there is to be no kindergarten class class at the Jefferson school, it will be noted from the maps. |
