Kllen Crandall and her sister Mrs. Harnet Johnson were honored with a visit from a number of mooes and nephews at the Crandall Cran-dall home Thursday evening of last week including Mr. and Mrs Albert Al-bert Dransfield of Ogden; Mr.' and Mrs. iliord Russon of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Cloward Stone of Vineyard; Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Russon and Mrs. Rulon Russon of Lehi. Mrs. Harriet Johnson will be spending the next few weeks with her daughter, Mrs. LaCelle Sumsion Sum-sion and other relatives and friends here while another daughter, Mrs. Rula Fullenbach and her daugh- ter Jean of Richfield are on a trip to Europe. Mrs. Johnson has been making her home with her daughter daugh-ter in Richfield for the past several sever-al years. Mrs. Ellen Crandall enjoyed a visit from her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Owen B. Wright and their daughter Mar-lene Mar-lene Thursday evening of last week. They came from Hurricane especially to attend the wedding of Leland Crandall and Geniel Wimmer Janet Groesbeck is expected from a serious operation which she underwent about three months ago. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Weight and Mr. and Mrs. Ed' Johnson spent the Labor Day weekend on a vacation trip to Sun Valley. They also motored mo-tored north of Sun Valley and then to Afton, Wyo., and other places of interest in Star Valley. Enroute to Sun Valley they stopped for a while at Idaho Falls and also toured tour-ed the ice caves near Shoshone. home this week trom walnut Creek, Calif., where she has spent a few days with her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Groesbeck and family. Russell is chemical engineer for an oil company com-pany at Walnut Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Claude A. Smith returned home last week from a vacation trip to the northwest and Yellowstone Park. They visited Mrs. Smith's sister, Mrs. Iris Jenkins Jen-kins and other relatives in Seattle and with another sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hol-ley Hol-ley and family at East Stanwood. Enroute home, they stopped at Grand Coulee dam; Cour de'Alene, Ida., and at Yellowstone Park and Jackson Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Groesbeck of Seattle, Wash., were house-guests house-guests recently of Mr. Groesbeck's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. Berton Groesbeck in Springville. They came especially for the 85th birthday open house for Mr. Groesbeck's father, W. J. I Groesbeck. I Mr. and Mrs. Earl Child and children spent a few days of the past week on vacation in the vicinity vi-cinity of Escalante, stopping to fish at Boulder Mountain. Lt. George Anderson spent a few days of the past week home on leave from the air force base at Eglin, Fla. Son of Mr. and Mrs. G Lowry Anderson, he has eight months more in the service, part of which he hopes to be stationed at Wendover. May VV. Johnson and Bertha Rothwell visited Thursday with their sister, Nell Wiscombe of Mapleton, who is convalescing |
