Show Alabama. Mr. Torzillo, who is a3 government employee at the ordnance ord-nance depot, was here a week and Mrs. Torzillo (Marjorie Clark) spent three weeks. She came also to attend the reunion of her high school class and was honored as the one traveling fartherest for the event Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Weight have moved to Springville from Columbia Falls, Mont., where they have lived since their marriage over a year ago. He plans to enroll en-roll in school. Welcoming their son Don home for a visit from California, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Miller had a family fam-ily party at their home Sunday evening. Don arrived from Garden City, Calif., to accompany his wife, the former Beverly Sumsion and their three children back after a three-weeks visit here. The showing show-ing of slides and movies followed follow-ed by refreshments entertained about twenty family members. Mr. and Mrs. A'aun Weight and family have moved to Springville from Provo and are living in the home of Vaun's mother, Mrs. Min- erva Weight on Weight Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thorn had a full house over the weekend when their sons and daughters spent the Labor Day holiday with them. From Oxnaid, Calif., came Bob and June Thorn Abron, Louis came home on a furlough from Alaska and Jim had just been released re-leased from the Army. Although they could not be in attendance, Bob and Norma Thorn called from Winter Haven, Fla. A Sunday dinner din-ner was enjoyed by the family and after church that evening they had an open house. Mrs. W. H. Anderson, Springville, Spring-ville, and Mrs. George Barron from Arizona visited Monday night at the home of Mrs. C. F. Packard. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Palfreyman and Mary Palfreyman returned home Saturday after a four-day vacation to Cedar City and Fish Lake. While in Cedar City they visited Phyllis Palfreyman who teaches school there. Mr. and Mrs. John Carry, Van Nuys, Calif., are leaving Friday following a two-week visit with Mrs. Carry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Haymond. Mrs. Victor Frandsen is still confined to her bed most of the time as result of an attack of rheumatic rheu-matic fever which began with a strep throat infection last February. Febru-ary. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Frandsen visited over the weekend in Springville Spring-ville from Lowry AFB at Denver, Colo., where Glenn is serving in photography. Dr. and Mrs. C. W. Judd and family spent part of the Labor Day weekend on a vacation trip to Fish Lake. Victor Frandsen, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Frandsen and Mrs. J. B. Liechty were in Leland Sunday to visit their sister, Mrs. Winona F. Thomas, who was injured Tuesday of last week in an auto accident in Spanish Fork. She suffered a. fractured arm and deep cuts to her arms; body bruises and chest injuries in-juries and was released from the hospital Sunday. With her at the time of the accident was Mrs. Nora Averett Larsen, who also suffered severe injury. Their car was almost completely demolished. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Torzillo and daughter Patricia and son Johnnie have returned to their home in Huntsville, Ala., after a visit in Springville with Mrs. Torzillo's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Clark and other relatives and friends. Johnnie has been with his grandparents grand-parents throughout the summer and returned to start to school in |
