Mrs. J. M. Sumsion, Mrs. Emma Cranmer, Mrs. Effie Boyer, Mrs. Rebecca Reynolds, and Mrs. El-zina El-zina Tuttle were assisting hostesses. hostess-es. Approximately 45 members and guests attended. An interesting interest-ing program was given during the afternoon, a roilows: Community Com-munity singing, led by Mrs. Bell Childs; prayer, Myrtle Harrison; vocal solo, Scott Thorn; history of Edward and Nacy E. Ballinger Hull, given by a grand-daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Harrison; piano solo, Virginia Bird; class history, "Pioneer "Pio-neer Preparation for the Future," Mrs. Mary J. Finley; eading, Marjorie Clark; prayer, Mrs. Ellen El-len K. Wheeler. The birthdays of A. W. Finley and Mrs. Mary Wheeler, both of which occur this month, were honored. Pioneer songs were practiced, and refreshments refresh-ments served at the close of the meeting. Miss Wilma Parker of Salt Lake is visiting her sister, Mrs. Lloyd Bird and family here. Members of the Fireman's auxiliary auxil-iary held a meeting and social at the fire hall, Monday night. The time was spent quilting, after which a dainty lunch was served by'Mrs. Guy Brown and Mrs. Marjorie Mar-jorie Bird, hostesses. Present were Mrs. Emma Miner, Mrs. Eva Hansen, Mrs. Lillie Wheeler, Mrs. Mary Weight, Mrs. Eva White, Mrs, Mae Groesbeck, Mrs. Marjorie Frandsen, Mrs. Pochard Huntington, Mrs. Othell Bird, Mrs. Mabel Brown, and Mrs. R. A. Peery. Mrs .Norma Noe, Mrs. Budie Thorpe and Mr. and Mrs. Ira : Taylor visited one day last week with relatives at Lehi. i Mrs. Hannah Allehan will be hostesses to the Aaron Johnson camp D. U. P. at her home Thursday Thurs-day afternoon February 21. All members and those eligible to join are invited o be present. Mrs. George Crandall will entertain en-tertain Social Twelve and club members at her home Thursday evening, February 21. A talk by Mrs. Nelson Beal on "Patriotism and Americanism" featured the Legion auxiliary meeting Wednesday at Memorial hall. A retold story by Dorothy j Evans, an instrumental duet by Anna Miner and Melva Johnson, and vocal solos by Mrs. Harriet Miner were also enjoyable.
