Show Local I , "Uncle Sam's Visit," operetta will be presented by the Lincoln school pupils Thursday afternoon before Washington school pupils; Friday afternoon for Grant and Jefefrson students and Friday at 7:30 p. m. for patrons. Attractive, costumes, clever dances and well arranged stage effects will feature feat-ure the performance, which also is given as a dedication for the new Memorial hall. The First ward is rehearsing for a vaudeville performance to be given in the near future, in which the varluus auxiliary organizations organiza-tions including the" Relief society. Primary, Genealogical association, M. I. A., Sunday school and Elder's Eld-er's quorum will each take part. The M. I. A. stake musical festival festi-val is scheduled for March 3. Demonstrations of the minuet ' by several couples from the ward M. I. A. adult classes and also demonstrations of the merry widow waltz, will feature the George Washington dance sponsored spon-sored by the M. I. A. Friday night at Memorial hall. Special patriotic decorations will be used, and everyone is promised a good time. The Third ward M. I. A. will present the 3-act play, "The Importance Im-portance of Being Earnest," at 8 p. m. Thursday in the Third ward hall. The same performance will be given at 8 p. m., February 27, at the First ward. Dr. G. G. Neill is now installed in his new offices over the Springville Spring-ville Bank. Dr. V. M. Sevy has moved his offices to his residence at 140 South 2nd West |
