Show Kiwanis - Farmer Banquet Tonight Over a hundred men interested in the various industrial activities of this community are expected to meet at the annual Farmer-Kiwanis Farmer-Kiwanis banquet and program beginning be-ginning at 7 p. m. Thursday in the Second ward amusement hall. A general invitation is extended by President Charles Boyer of the Kiwanis club urging all to attend. In addition to the banquet an interesting program Is arranged for the occasion under the direction direc-tion of Toastmaster W. R. Edd-ington. Edd-ington. Each of the leading industries of the community will be represented repre-sented with short talks as follows, President Frank Sanford of the local poultrv association, poultry-men; poultry-men; President West Hutching, of the Livestock association, cattlemen; cat-tlemen; Dallas Holley, lambfeed-ers; lambfeed-ers; John A. Fox, 4-H clubs; W, H. Anderson, Future Farmers; W. W. Brockbank, high school; Harlan Boyer, canning factory. The sugar factory and Springville Banking company also will be represented. Besides' short talks each of the industries will be represented with one other program number.. In connection with the entertainment; enter-tainment; a. ticket selling contest is going on among the 4-H club members and Future Farmers with each boy receiving a free ticket for the selling of five others. All who plan to attend the affair are urged to secure tickets as soon as possible. |
