Every number will be unique and entertaining. "My Father's World," selected as the theme of the song fest, will be heralded in by a fifteen-piece brass ensemble in a stirring fanfare. A corps of five drummers; a twelve-piece twelve-piece string ensemble and an accor- dian band will be supporting features. fea-tures. A melting together of all nationalities nation-alities in an impressive finale, will be accompanied by the entire stake MIA membership including officers, teachers and class members and stake boards singing, "One World," as flags of many nations make a col rful entry. fa-usic directors in the various wards are rehearsing the classes for their parts under the direction of Mrs. Alberta Hoover, stake director. Rondo Jeffery and Harmon Hatch, Jr.) will be in charge of the string t t I section and Louise Schouten, the drums. The accordian music is being rehearsed re-hearsed under direction of Dan Harrison Har-rison and there will also be vocal numbers by a male quartet composed compos-ed of Bill Bird, Tom Robbins, Glen Turner and Wm. Schreiner directed by Mr. Schreiner. Tom and Dolly Smith will bring an artistic touch to the dances of the evening with their interpretation of the Mexican tango. Other numbers will make the festival one of the outstanding music events of the season. |
