''.nit of Mapleton has com- w . - . . f ft f U : ' '!l - I pleted his initial course in Air Force Base military training train-ing at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, it was reported this week. He has been selected to attend the technical training course for Cryptographic Systems Equipment Repairman. This is a course designed to train airmen in the operation, adjustment, ad-justment, organizational , and field maintenance and repair o f crytographic equipment. This course is 27 calendar weeks in duration and is located lo-cated at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Airman Court, a graduate of Springville High School, also attended BYU. He enlisted in the Air Force at Provo, February 17, 1960. Prior to his enlistment in the Air Force, he was administered ad-ministered the Air Force Classification Clas-sification to determine his best suited career area. , He qualified high in the electronics electron-ics career area and was enlisted en-listed for the electronics career car-eer field. Airmen are selected for specialized training at technical schools on the basis of their interests and aptitudes. apti-tudes. They are reassigned to the school after five weeks of basic training. Upon completion of special technical training at an Air Force Technical Training Center, Cen-ter, airmen are assigned to operational units of the USAF Aerospace Force.
