Show BONNEVILtE POST BEEINSJCAREER m Committees of New Legion Branch Instructed to Plan Live Programs. Salt Lake's newest post of the American Amer-ican Legion will be known as the Bonneville Bonne-ville post. It was decided at a meeting of the post last night in the Commercial club to make application for a charter under that name. John I-Iolden is chairman chair-man of the post, A. W. Gorey is vice chairman, Ray Taylor, secretary, and David Keith, treasurer. The chairman was authorized last night to appoint an entertainment committee, with instructions instruc-tions to begin a series of live programs at the next meeting, two weeks from tonight. to-night. A committee to draft a constitution constitu-tion and by-laws also was authorized. Among those who have already joined the Bonneville post, in addition to the above-mentioned officers, are Roscoe Ash-worth, Ash-worth, Jack Badger, Clarence Bamberger, Bam-berger, G. Philo Childs, A. Joseph Simmons Wilkes post No. 2, American Legion, will meet tonight at 8 o'clock at the Commercial club. Proposed by-laws for the post will be submitted by Chairman Charles C. Parson of the bylaws by-laws committee. The committee which has investigated tho proposed plan of securing se-curing a tract of the Fort Douglas reservation reser-vation as a site for a soldiers' memorial building will also make a report. All Salt Lake posts of the American Legion are planning a celebration at Saltair on August 20. |
