Show Convoy Chief Will Receive Floral Piece AN appropriate welcome to Salt Lake will be given Lieutenant Colonel C. W. McClure, who is in charge of the United States army transport convoy, which will arrive this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Nino of Salt Lake's fairest maid- j ens will present the colonel with a j large bouquet of flowers, standing six feet in height, representing an army convoy car. The scene for the presentation will bo the capitol I steps and those wishing to witness the event, if they will hasten to the capitol soon after the blowing of the whistles, which signifies the arrival of the corps, will bo in time. The following Salt Lake girls will take part in tho presentation: Agnes Ag-nes Naisbett, Esther Badger, Martha Mar-tha Richards, Josophino Richards, j Mary Clayton, Madoloino McClollan, Ruth Oowie, Rosella Ellcrbock and Gertrude Thomas. |
