Kaufman Very Active in Patriotic Endeavors, OFFERING her services, with hundreds hun-dreds of Salt Lake patriotic women, wom-en, when the United States declared de-clared war on Germany, Mrs. K. F. Kaufman today completes the work she commence two years ago. Mrs. Kaufman has been one of the most sincere sin-cere and active workers on the women's booth committee, and is credited with subscriptions totaling more than S3S.000. Mrs. Kaufman is a member of the local Catholic Women's league and has been closely identified with the excellent work that the league has done for soldiers. When the first call for volunteers for the Red Cross was announced, Mrs. Kaufman Kauf-man joined the women's legion of mercy, and the work that the Salt Lake Red Cross has done is far-famed. In all four war loans she offered her services to the t women's committee, and her efforts have been invaluable toward the big success of all Liberty loans. Choosing the most active branch of the women's work, Mrs. -Kaufman has been unflagging in her efforts for the idlest success of the tasks that have been allotted allot-ted to her. The results of her canvass are considered gratifying. |
