Show Program for Spike . Celebration Today Is Announced OGDEN, 'May 9. The Golden Spike program for Saturday follows: fol-lows: 9 a. m.' Railroad salute, blowing of whistles, ringing of bells, etc. 9:30 a. m. Band concert in business busi-ness district. 10:30 a. in. to 12 noon Golden Spike parade, starting from Twenty-sixth Twenty-sixth street and Washington avenue, ave-nue, through business district. 12 noon. Luncheon to railroad pioneers at Eagles hall, under direction direc-tion of entertainment committee. 12 to 2 p. m. Band concerts in business district. 2 to i p. m. Open-air program at Central park. 3:30 p. m. Baseball game, Poca-tello Poca-tello vs. Ogden Shop team. i to 6 p. m. Aorplane flights over Ogden. 4 to 6 p. m. Hall of relics open in Berthaua hall, with remarkable display of pioneer relics. 4 to 6 p. m. Automobile rides for railroad pioneers. 6 p. m. Dinner to railroad pioneers at Eagl;s' hall, given by entertainment committee. Railroad I officials' reunion and banquet at Weber club rooms. 7 to 9 p. m. Band concerts, business busi-ness district. 8:30 p. m. Concert by Ogden tabernacle tab-ernacle choir at Oden tabernacle. S:30 p. m. Band concert and da m-e, Lorin Fart park, Southern Pacific band. 9 p. m. Dance at Berthana. railroad rail-road pioneers and officials as guests. 9 p. m. Dance at Knights of Pythias, hall, Ogden Ladies' band. |
