Of this amount -i:i.0j was 'spent every rninfftc by foreign purchasers of American tires, while 0.93 was spent every minute on magnetos, mag-netos, sparkplugs, etc. The increase in exports of automobile tires is almost as significant as that of automobiles, since the value of these exports during the fiscal year 1919 whs more than six times as great as in 1914.
