I and this was stopped on Tuesday, when I Mr. Harms reported that the liquid was cider heavily diluted with water and I sweetened . with sugar. The vendor 1 agreed he would make no further representations repre-sentations that the material was cider, and way allowed to reopen the booth. However, lie did advertise that it was per cent apple juice. A second analysis analy-sis proved the fallacy 01" this, and also that saccharine had been used to sweeten it. The latter being a forbidden adulterant in this state, the product was ordered destroyed. |
