The lino of march will be from the monument corner down Main to Fourth South street, east to State street, north to South Temple street and west to South Temple street to the entrance to the temple grounds, where it will disband. Tli first division of tho parade will include mounted policcmen; the grand marshal and aides, the national guard, representatives of the University of Utah, school children of the city, the Knights of Columbus and the city fire departn out. Those in the first division divi-sion are directed to assemble at 2 o'clock on South Temple street between Main and State streets. The second division will include tho governor and members of his staff, the mayor and city officials, Colonel By-ram By-ram and officers from Fort Douglas, Bishop Joseph S. Glass, President Heber J. Grant and other prominent citizens, members of the Christopher Columbus lodge of the Itnlian society, members of the Eagle lodge, the executive committee com-mittee of the celebration, members of Christopher Columbus lodge from Foca-tello, Foca-tello, members of the Moose lodge and the Sunnyside band. Those participating participat-ing in this division are requested to form at 2 o'clock just behind the first division on East South Temple street between Main and Second East. Floats Being Prepared. The third division will include the Italian consul and his staff, the Greek consul and staff, a delegation of Italians Ital-ians from Carbon count', floats entered en-tered by the Italian Mothers society, the Boy" Scouts, the Junior Marines and others. This division will assemble on South Temple between Main and First West streets. Bands will march in each of the divisions, di-visions, a considerable number of floats will accompany the marching organizations, organiza-tions, many of which are expected to be unusually elaborate. Charles J. Mc-Nulty Mc-Nulty will act as grand marshal of the parade. One float is being built by the Italian society to represent the landing of Columbus. Another will show ' ' 1492 and 1919," with Uncle Sam and the queen of Italy as the central figures. Miss Fannie Farrari. will take the part of the queen, it has been announced . The principal events todav will be the celebration of solemn "pontifical mass in the cathedral of the Madeleine at 11 o'clock by the Rt. Rev. John P. Carroll, D. D., bishop of Helena Mont., and a sermon by the Most Rev. Kdward J. Hanna, D. t)., archbishop .of San Francisco; the exemplification of the fourth or patriotic degree of the Knights of Columbus during the afternoon after-noon in th- Hotel Utah, followed by a dinner (here in the evening, at which Governor Hambergei. General Richard W. Young, the visiling prelates, Bishop Glass and others will make addresses. Tomorrow, under the auspices of the local society of the Sons of Italy, there will be a parade in commemoration of the discovery of America by Christopher Christo-pher Columbus, participated in by a number of local civic and fraternal or-"aniza'. or-"aniza'. ions. Appropriate exercises will bo held in the public schools. State, county and city offices, banks and other public institutions will bo closed during the day. Most of the stores and other commercial establishments, including includ-ing the largo department stores, however, how-ever, will remain oyen during the day. Public Invited. An invitation has been extended by the Knights of Columbus to the general public to attend the services at tho "athedral this morning, when Archbishop Arch-bishop Hanna, known as one 1 of the foremost public speakers among" the Catholic clergymen in America, will deliver de-liver the sermon. Archbishop Hanna has announced that he will speak on the ideals which he believes should constitute con-stitute Americanism. Members of the Knights of Columbus and candidates for the fourth degree will assemble at 10:30 o'clock this morning in the club rooms at the Hotel Utah and will march to the cathedral in a body. The degree work will commence at 2:30 o'clock, and will be under the direction di-rection of Charles A. Maguire of Og-den, Og-den, district master of the fourth decree. de-cree. Among those who will 13 present will be Robert E. Morrison of Prescott, Ariz., vice supreme master of the fourth dgree in the United States. Members of the doaree team will include in-clude John J. Harvey, Donald Morrison, Morri-son, the Rev. Dr. R. J. Cotter, T. J. O'Brien, Robert Driscoll and Dr. John T. Gallican of Salt Lake: John A. Junk, M. J. O'Connor and P. K Smith of Of-den; Of-den; Jess B. Hawley of Boise and iSeal GrPffory of Dubuoue, Iowa. H. N. Byrne will act as toastmaster at the bnnnuet, and the sneakers will include Bishop Carroll.
