Show CHAPLAINS TO TEACH AT L. D. S. UNIVERSITY Two of the three L. D. S. chaplains who served in France during the war, will teach at the Latter-day Saints university uni-versity this year. Chaplain Calvin S. Smith will teach in the English department depart-ment of the business college, and Chaplain Chap-lain Herbert B. Maw will teach history and social science in the high school. Today is the opening registration day at the institution, and President Guy C. Wilson expects this year's registration to surpass all previous records. The faculty of the school was organized for registration registra-tion at the close of the teachers' institute yesterday. A special welcoming committee has been appointed. Mr. Wilson says among the plans to be incorporated in the school curriculum this year will be the best methods of supervised study. Lesson work, he says, will commence Monday. |
