Show EXPRESS THINKS for nmiTi Directors of Chamber of U. S. Commend Commercial Com-mercial Club. A letler containing a resolution passed by the. board of directors of the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce of the United States of America, expressing appreciation for the welcome extended its members during their recent visit to this city, and also extending the personal acknowledgment of the president of the association for the courtesy shown the members, has been received by Lester D. Freed, president of the Salt Lake Commercial club, from H. L. Ferguson, president of the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce. The tex tof the letter follows: "I take great pleasure in transmitting herewith a resolution unanimously adopted adopt-ed by our board of directors, setting forth its appreciation of the many courtesies extended to the officers and members of the board during their recent visit to your city: " 'Resolved, That the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America tender their cordial thanks for the marked courtesy and great hospitality extended to them by the Commercial club and Chamber of Commerce on the occasion of their visit to Salt Lake on July 30 and 31, 1919; and, be it furher " 'Resolved, That thev place on record their appreciation of the interest shown by commercial organizations and business men of the cities visited by the board in their continued support of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, which has become a national body expressive of the energy, honesty and patriotism of American business men.' "Please accept from me personally my acknowledgment of your hearty cooperation, coopera-tion, without which the officers and members mem-bers of the board could not have secured the important information which they desired de-sired regarding American business and the questions affecting same in the territory ter-ritory included in their itinerary." |
