Show OWE NATIONAL COMISH NOTHING, DECLARES FULTZ NEW YORK. Sept. 3. Denying that the new International league Is indebted in-debted to the national commission, David L. Fultz, president of the league, tonight replied to an ultimatum ulti-matum of the commission demanding within thirty days $8700 alleged to be due, on penalty of withdrawal of protection pro-tection from "those cities which wrere represented in the old (International) The alleged debt, he said, was a loan of $8718.. 65 made by B. B. Johnson John-son and the national commission to the old Buffalo club of the International Interna-tional league, to enable it to fight the Federal league. |
