Show IS EARLY GONE Demands of Exhibitors Are Excessive, Says the Management. That the eleventh annual Salt "Lake automobile au-tomobile show to be held in Bonneville Park, February 9 to 1-1, Inclusive, will :e one of the biggest exhibitions of Its kind ever held here Is indicated by the j excessive demands for epac that are al- ready confronting Manager W. D. Rishel ' and the show committee. The same con ditions h? ve existed to some extent in former years, according to .Mr. Rishel, but never before as much as tnis year. The problem of the show committee is tli at of apportioning space to the various exhibitors so that all will be ?al.h;fJed and yet have sufficient room left to take care of at! the a ppllca n ls det irin0' to pi Lice exhibits. At present there are more dealers deal-ers desiring space in the center section than can Vie tn-ken care of. The center section has room for eighteen exhibits, and there are twenty-one dealers bidding for space. If space was allotted according to present pres-ent demands of some of uie dealers, there would not be enough room left in the building to accommodate one-half of the applicants. It was stated by Mr. Hishcl that In order to house a 11 the exhibits, existing demands for space win have to be cut. The matter has been taken under un-der advisement by the show committee and meetings have been held with groups of passenger car dealers, truck dealers and accessory dealers in order to ad.iust the space problem to the sa tisf action of all concerned. Much favora ble prosrss in this direction has been made and if is expected that the difficulties wil be settled set-tled to the complete saiisfaction of all. "In view of the many and excessive demands for space this early in the game it would 'be well for all dealers desiring to place exhibits at the show to get their' applications in to the management's office as quickly as possible," is the statement made by Mr. Rishel. "This is practically the only way tha t thoy may be assured of having an evhibi:. at the show." So f;j r t vent y - five applications have been received and the space has been allotted. al-lotted. A l thit rare the management expects ex-pects t '.o retiia ining space to be gone within the next two weeks. |
