Show OLD MOHAWK MINE IS BEING WORKED Recent development work on the old Mohawk mine, now known ns the General Gen-eral Foch, is interesting, savs the Piochc Record. liov Bicknell and Jack Gre.-man, who have leased an area 400 bv 600 feet, nro now down forty feet, and the bottom of their hhaft shows heavy mineralization. Picked samples from the fissure, which tiiev expect to tap at about sixty feet, show values of ten ounces silver and 65 per cent lead per ton. Charley Stindt and Joe Tlagel, wei. known mining operators, aro developing develop-ing the upper sector of the, same claim and are going down on a th roc-foot ledgo of low-grade ore. They expect to f-triko a hodv of pay ore any shift.. Their Khaft has now reached a depth of thirty-two feet. The General Fooh claim is located about 3000 feet from the active JIarnev mine lenses, and is in the same .one of mineralization. |
