Show BONDS ARE FILED BY ACCUSED MEN Special to The Tribune. BINGHAM, Kov. 14. Dan W. Coakley. F. XV. Qulnn and Attorney a. C. Cole, charged with inducing persons to register regis-ter who were not entitled to vote, furnished fur-nished bond for their appearance today. Sam Feraco and Beaso Zam, who, it is alleged, were induced to register, were both soldiers who had been honorably discharged from the U. S. army, it is said. Bes3o Zam enlisted September 17, 1317, and served until August lo, 1919. Sam Feraco was naturalised at Camp Green. X. C. In September, 1918. Ha was discharged April 19. 1919. These men who had served their adopted adopt-ed country believed they were entitled to register. After having done so, the question arose as to their right to vote, as their second papers were not in their possession. They made no attempt to vote, and consequently could not have affected the result of the election. |
