Show EARLY STATE SETTLER DIES IN FOURTH WARD Special to The Tribune. PROVO, March 11,. Ocorgre Elliott, one of the early pioneers of this city, died today at the home of Ms daughter, Mrs. Vern Searles, in the Fourth ward, following fol-lowing a long illness. He was born In Calais, Prance, October G, lS-iG, and while yet a very young child was taken to Australia with his parents. He came to Utah in 1853, settling in this city. lie has been, engaged in mining during the greater part of his life in Utah. He is survived by two sons, Edwin 11. and Clifford, both of Eureka; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Irene Searles and FMrenne Elliott, both of this city, bebsides two brothers and other relatives. The body may be viewed at the Berg & Son chapel Thursday from It to 1. The funeral services will be held in Ihe Fourth ward Thursday at 1:30. The deceased de-ceased was a mehiber of the Indian War Veterans, and that organization will attend at-tend the services in a body. |
