With eighty-five eighty-five officers and 2734 troops of the Twenty-seventh division former' New York state national guardsmen the steamship Mount Vernon arrived here today from Brest; The vessel brought altogether 4T&4 troops, including a large number .of, casuals cas-uals and ninety-six nurses, together with seven officers and $13 men sick or wounded. ' . I Casual companies aboard included the ! following: Numbers 1410 of Montana, "1413 of South Dakota. -bl of Oregon, 2S4 o California and of Colorado. Traveling as a casual on the Mount-Ver--non was Brigadier General James D. Glennan. The steamship Adriatic, whi.ch . arrived . I here from Liverpool today brought 2"9 . steerage passengers, most of them Amer- ioans whu had been discharged from the1 Canadian expeditionary forces.' The Adriatic Adri-atic also discharged 1 Canadian troops at Halifax on this trip. The transport Agamemnon arrived here today from Brest. It was authoritatively reported here today that the Olympic will sail this week from England Eng-land with 4000 Canadians encamped at Rhyl, where rioting occurred last week.
